Peter Read Miller,
For the 2008 Summer Olympics in China …
I shot RAW on RAW UDMA memory cards from
Hoodman.
Why??? RAW memory cards have had Zero
Failures Worldwide since their launch over 2 years ago.
Covering the Olympics, you shoot 3 or 4
events a day for 16 days. Almost everything is shot at 10 frames per second.
It can be a real test of a memory card. I never worried about missing a shot or
losing data- RAW UDMA memory cards at 300X kept me shooting.
RAW UDMA memory cards are built in the
USA in small controlled production runs... When the magazine depends my
shooting and my memory card, I settle for the best, not the biggest.
